Meet Dr. Dailley & Team
Meet Dr. Dailley
Anthony Dailley DDS, FICOI–Berkeley, CA Family Dentist–Dailley Dental Care
Our team takes pride in treating our patients as if they were members of our own family. We utilize many years of experience and training to provide state of the art dental treatments to the Berkeley community, and we offer convenient hours, so you don't have to take time off from work or school.
My career in the health sciences started when I earned my bachelor's degree in Cell & Molecular Biology at the California State University of San Francisco. After graduating, I entered dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where I later earned my dental degree in 1981. Since then I have been in private practice and during that time I also spent some years teaching at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. In 1997 I became one of the founders of a biopharmaceutical company called NovaBay Pharmaceuticals that develops non-antibiotic, anti-infective drugs for treating drug-resistant bacterial infections. I was a member of the company's board of directors for 17 years and retired from the board in 2014. These types of infections are presenting great difficulties in the health field due to the increasing incidences of drug resistance to modern antibiotic therapy. I am passionate about trying to help combat this serious problem facing society. I am also an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Berkeley Dental Association, and I hold a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
The ICOI is an international organization of doctors who specialize in dental implant surgery and prosthetics. The organization meets at various locations around the world each year to promote postdoctoral education and research and to learn the latest advancements in dental implant procedures. To be awarded a fellowship, the examining committee of the ICOI examines the credentials of the applicant, and their level of expertise in implant surgery and oral prosthetic rehabilitation. Also, actual implant treatment cases are submitted for the board's review before the position of a Fellowship can be awarded to an applicant.
Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the most current and successful treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each patient relationship. Our patients are like family members to us.

Gloria Nieblas, RDA
My entry into the field of dentistry was the result of crossing paths with a very passionate dental assistant. As a mother of a toddler, I began considering different career options. I developed a passion for dentistry after a chance encounter with Dr. Dailley’s office, where I began working for him. Becoming a part of Dr. Dailley’s practice has enriched my life by furthering my education more than any career that I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. Other than loving the spirit and atmosphere of the office, our patients are lovely, our training is continuous, and Dr. Dailley’s desire for his team to succeed in their goals is always gratifying. This all just adds to a life that is fulfilled with family, traveling, and all things outdoors!

Born and raised in the East Bay, I graduated from high school with the intention to become a Dentist. After graduation, I reevaluated my options realistically and knew I still wanted to be in the dental field, so I started looking into Dental Hygiene careers. I’ve always had an interest in teeth and enjoyed helping people. After getting married, my husband and I relocated to North Carolina where he was stationed in the Marine Corps. The move delayed my career progress for only a moment, but I never lost sight of my ultimate goal, to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. I continued my education on the east coast until my husband had an unexpected deployment that sent me back to California. While attending Diablo Valley College, I received The Faculty Recognition Award and graduated in the class of 2016.
As a newer member to Dr. Dailley’s practice, I have truly loved and appreciated the tender care and amenities we offer to all of our patients! I particularly have a passion for treating our patients with periodontal disease as it allows me to provide care in a calm and caring atmosphere where their comfort and well being is my main concern. When I am not working, I spend time with my husband and family. I love to travel and experience new adventures.

I was raised in San Leandro and attended San Francisco State University where I majored in Cell and Molecular Biology and minored in Chemistry. I aspired to become a dentist myself with over eight years of experience in the dental field. However, due to life changes, I decided to take a different path but continue with my passion for oral health. I graduated as a Registered Dental Hygenist from Fresno City College with highest honors and received The Western Society of Periodontology Award and The California Dental Hygiene Educators' Association Award (CDHEA). Outside of work, I enjoy time with family and friends and everything that life is filled with whether it is food or the outdoors.

I always knew that I wanted to work in the health care field. However, the dental office is the last place I thought I would end up. As a child, I was terrified of the dentist and avoided the dentist for many years. After “surviving” numerous dental procedures and orthodontics as a young adult, I realized the dental field is exactly where I wanted to help people overcome their fears and live healthier lives through the prevention of common dental issues. Since 2009, I have been fortunate to experience positions in various dental offices, ranging from specialists to general practices. Building personal relationships and working through treatment concerns has inspired my desire to grow as a dental professional. I strive to be a life-long learner by attending seminars and continuing education classes to stay updated on new technologies—to ensure our patients maintain their dental health.
In my free time, I enjoy staying as busy as possible, working other jobs, spending time with my four-legged children, and trying out new places to eat and new recipes to cook.
